Our Tournament Insurance Policy

24 Sports requires teams to have appropriate insurance coverage. The following policy outlines the requirements and guidelines related to team insurance:

• Coverage: Team insurance coverage must be obtained and provided prior to the first game played. It is the responsibility of the team to secure the necessary insurance coverage that meets the required standards.

• Compliance: If a team fails to provide proof of insurance coverage that complies with the specified requirements, they will not be able to participate in any event until insurance is in compliance. No concessions or exceptions will be made, and refunds will not be issued for missed games or events.

• Claims Process: In the unfortunate event of an injury, eligible individuals must follow the designated claims process as outlined by the insurance provider. This may include providing relevant medical documentation, completing claim forms, and adhering to any additional requirements specified by the insurance provider. Once you submit a claim, the insurance provider will contact us for proper information.

• Coverage Limitations: It is important to note that insurance coverage may have limitations, deductibles, and exclusions specific to the policy obtained by the team. Participants are advised to familiarize themselves with the terms and conditions of the insurance policy to fully understand the extent of the coverage provided.

Please ensure that your team obtains and maintains appropriate insurance coverage to protect the well-being of all participants. Compliance with this policy is mandatory, and failure to adhere to the insurance requirements may result in the team's inability to participate in our events.

Can we purchase insurance through 24 Sports? Yes. We have partnered with Key Sports Insurance to provide coverage for our teams.

• The policy coverage period is from 1/1/2024 to 1/1/2025, with various limits and coverages including occurrence limit, damage to rented premises limit, medical expense limit, personal and advertising injury limit, general aggregate limit, products/comp operation limit, abuse and molestation occurrence limit, and abuse and molestation aggregate limit. The medical coverage includes an accident limit and deductible.

  • $165.00 for 13U to 15U teams.

I purchased insurance from another organization (NCS, PG, USSSA, PAC, etc.) Will 24 Sports accept that insurance? Yes. If your team already has an existing insurance policy, we kindly request that you have your insurance carrier add the following as Additional Insured (AI). Once you have obtained the necessary documentation, please upload it to your team login for our records.

If I purchase insurance through 24 Sports will it be valid for other sanctions/organizations? Yes, if you purchase insurance through 24 Sports, it will generally be valid for other sanctions/organizations as well. The coverage provided by the insurance applies to the rostered kids during practice and gameplay. The process for other organizations should be similar, where they would need to be listed as additional insured on the policy. As long as your coverage is effective for the date of play, it should not be necessary to purchase additional insurance. If you are being informed otherwise, it is important to seek advice from an insurance professional promptly.
